Post book contributions as Forum Topics, not Blogs!

Hey there Team Bell members,

please paste any book contributions in the Forums. These are split up by chapters, so that once you choose the appropriate chapter, your work is automatically categorized. This makes it SO much easier to move ahead in editing the book!!!

Blogs are there so you can post more personal or chatty messages.

If you've posted your book contributions in your blog, please open a new tab, call up this website again, and create a new forum, pasting your previous blog material into the forum. Once you've created and saved that forum, erase the old blog.

To find a Team Bell member's account,
1) click Search on top right of website
2) click Users tab
3) paste in Username (not "real" name)
4) click Search again, and the User's name will show up
5) To contact User, click Contact tab, and fill in the appropriate boxes, and send email
6) You should also be able to find User's contributed website content through their account.

To figure out more about the website in general, spend some time on it.

What's next?

Dear Team Bell,

we had a really good meeting on Monday, July 20.

Following the brainstorming session at the first meeting (in June), your ideas were categorized by where they might fit into the book, as follows:

- Adjusting to new environment- school city, physical/natural environment
- Learn campus services
- Safety/Awareness/Naiveté
- Top 10 things to do before you get out of college (by year)

Next meeting October 11 (same place / time) - have 2-3 sentence bio ready!

Dear Team Bell members,

our next (and final) group meeting will be on Sunday (yes, Sunday!), October 11, 4-6 pm, in Haines A25.

Please bring to that meeting a 2-3 sentence (more or less) autobiography for the book.

Instructions from First Meeting

Dear Team Bell 2009,

thanks to all of those who came to our first meeting on Monday, June 15 - and those who wanted to, but couldn’t make it!

I’m just now getting back into the swing of things, following my brief trip out of town, and sending you the information you need to get moving on the project.
